Im colour blind, when i started playing i didnt really effect my "eve life" too much, as i have never really sat and thought about it too heavily up until the other week.

A while ago, I enjoyed scanning, to the extent that i did it as a daily occurance and i can fairly say that I enjoyed it, Then the scanning mechanics changed and for some reason i didnt get along with the new "system/interface" so i stopped (yes harsh i know)

Well last week i started scanning again, and a few days after i was scanning while a friend was with me. This is where i realised how much i struggled with it. I never realised before but I have to scan in quite some way, before i can spot the "red sphere", which isnt really a problem as im used to it. The problem came when i got down to a little dot.

Now this might just be me doing something wrong and if i genuinely am doing something wrong, i apologise but i genuinely have problems finding the little dot if im zoomed even slightly out (if the scan isnt too accurate), when i do find it - the only way i can keep it in plain site, is when i have a probe over it....Does anyone else have this problem? (if the spot is off the plain - ie higher or lower than default I have no hope)


Also a small problem I noticed, is all the "color" types for people in the overview - being colour blind i cant tell you what colours they are, but this really became a problem when my corp was at war... I was having to check the corp of every person in the overview other than nuets, Is there a way i can change this colour scheme? (i know i can make it so just war targets are displayed - and this is a temp solution, but at times it can be a pain)

Another classic for me is drone damage - To see my drone health levels - i have to scroll the display to show the drone meters against a white "cloud" background or i cant see when my drones are taking damage



I also noticed about 20 minutes ago that if my cap is low, against a certain background i cant see the levels at all on the "cap charty display thing" - i beleive i can display this as a number (same as shields etc) so this isnt a problem




Have any other colour blind players got any problems?
Can anyone suggest a fix for this or any other problems I might have (and just be unware of!)



Also i need to point out that this isnt a "rant" or me going "emoinsane" its a genuine question that I would like to know if anyone else has problems with, or if anyone has any ideas for making it easier for me, so ideally if you just want to take the p!ss, im really not interested - and i dont think anyone else would be
